I disagree. There is a lot bad done by for profit corporations arguably but you can't be serious. Im going to assume you're being hyperbolic on purpose. Banning for profit corporations? If you banned for profit corporations right now this very second the world would fall into an apocalyptic nightmare. Your food would stop being delivered, there'd be no fuel, the lights would turn off, the TV would turn off, Internet off, life saving medicine would stop being produced. Like I say you're being hyperbolic.

I'm sorry but family businesses don't produce cancer killing drugs. And the reason a loaf of bread in my grocery store only costs a buck is because there is a corporation behind it moving vast amounts of wheat and other ingredients around the planet and doing it very economically.

I agree corporations have a bad rap because of crony capitalism mispriced externalities but we do need big corporations for aspects of societies to continue pushing forward. I imagine you typed your article on a laptop or desktop computer, you didn't buy that from a local artisan, you bought it from a large corporation because they control enough capital and labour leverage to be put into research and development, mining, production and programing. Its just not possible at the scale for a local business to do that.
