Reddit is a well known cesspit. Still has good content though. Both can be true. Medium may not ban, but they dont have to, they do other things that are just as bad like sucking newby writers into thinking if they just post more often they too will become highly paid Medium writers when in fact all that happens is Medium grows its content and increases its sales and revenue. I'd rather be banned on Reddit as compared to sucked into Medium if I had the choice.
